David Laffere, manager for fuels for Kansas City Power & Light Company and one of the National Coal Transportation Association’s Board of Directors, died in June 2009 in a tragic car accident. The Education Committee of the NCTA established a scholarship in his memory. Dave was a truly special person who gave generously of his time and energy to the mission of the NCTA. We need your assistance in honoring his memory by helping to build an educational endowment for the future.
