Course Description
This course is designed to provide rehabilitation professionals the skills they need to understand, evaluate, and treat the complex array of deficits often associated with mild and moderate traumatic brain injury.  More specifically, an emphasis will be placed on understanding the cognitive, perceptual, and high level motor impairments frequently associated with TBI.  Participants will be introduced to evidence based options for evaluation and intervention through lecture, case examples and small group discussions.  Emerging trends in TBI research will be reviewed, to expand participants’ therapeutic repertoire for use in practice to implement strategies for improved outcomes.
