This program is designed to benefit Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physicians Assistants in the specialty fields of: endocrinology, endocrine surgery, radiology, nuclear medicine, oncology, pathology and primary care.


1) Apply current standards of care to patients with thyroid neoplasm

2) Apply new ATA guidelines for specimen collection and analysis

3) Recognize when to initiate patients on clinical trials

4) Assess comprehensive evaluation of  thyroglobulin tumor markers and Tg-RIA   testing

5) Provide consistent and practical safety information to patients regarding radioactive iodine

6) Apply monitoring and treatment guidelines for pregnant patients with thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer
