Start the day with breakfast and a welcome address from our 2014 President Dan Mason, Yakima County Commissioner Kevin Bouchey and City of Yakima Mayor Micah Cawley.  Then enjoy our opening session featuring Jon Wee and Owen Morse of The Passing Zone, as they provide a unique and comical way of looking at Innovation, Collaboration, and Execution.  Enjoy a full day of educational topics to choose from (don’t forget to visit the vendors and sponsors between classes!), then stretch your legs with a Wellness Walk around the lovely Franklin Park. Take part in the fun activities your Wellness Committee will have planned for the walk – perhaps you will be the lucky winner of a Wellness Prize!  The Evening Reception with social hour and light appetizers will be held outside at Franklin Park with the Yakima Valley Museum available for your enjoyment.  A real 1950’s soda fountain in the lower outside level of the Museum will be available for special treats!  Transportation will be included to and from Franklin Park beginning at 4:30pm and every 20 minutes until dark.

After breakfast, choose between two great speakers;  Tammy Redmon, who will teach us how to empower ourselves to achieve personal greatness, or Taylor Powell, Federal Government Assurance Senior Associate of CliftonLarsonAllen.  Tammy is described by friends and clients as a “Passionate Catalyst for Transformation, Authentic Living, and Renewal” and Taylor will talk on the reported fiscal condition of the federal government, present key measures of intergovernmental financial dependency for the 50 states, and discuss how state and local governments can be proactive in addressing this new age of federal austerity, including modifying revenue forecasting methodologies and strategic plans. The choice will be hard!  Enjoy another full day of educational topics and catch those vendors and sponsors you didn’t get to see the day before. After a full day of classes, join us for the banquet, featuring some fun and entertaining magic acts and our version of the television classic Family Feud. Dance the night away with a DJ that will be able to play all of your favorite hits, no matter the era or genres! And back by popular demand, be sure to get your picture taken in the photo booth! We promise we won’t post them on the web **wink**

After a couple days of learning and fun, wind down with breakfast and our closing speaker Avish Parashar who will bring his improve comedy skills to his topic “How to Improvise, Adapt and Innovate in an Ever-Changing World!”
Enjoy a few more classes then call it a week! Whew!

Better get rested up – you’re going to need all the energy you can muster for a few days of fabulous educational opportunities and some fun to boot!
