We are so excited to present our first annual Supervision Symposium!

At some point, most SLPs agree to take on supervision.  Lacking academic and practical training, most feel unprepared and anxious. These presentations will discuss the essential functions of supervision (communication, expectations, critical thinking, problem solving, assessment), and present a model for experiencing the joy of supervision well done.

We will be offering two days of courses.  Thursday, June 26, we are offering a 6-hour session ($140.00) for those of you needing the initial 6-hours for state licensing.  Friday, June 27, we are offering two 3 hour sessions ($80.00) for those of you needing a refresher course for state licensing.  The AM course will be focused on effective communication.  The PM course will be focused on shared expectations.

Register before May 31 for an early bird discount of $20.00!!

In addition to these supervision courses, we are also offering FREE CEUs for PBL facilitator certification.   We will be training facilitators for our Problem Based Learning classes.  After taking this course you will have the opportunity to become a facilitator in a course of your choice.  This course will be offered twice, morning and afternoon.

Lunch will be provided on both days!

If you have supervised an LLU student in the past, your registration can be free.  Every student supervised is good for one 3 hour course.  Contact Mona Smith (mrsmith@llu.edu or 909-558-4998) for your voucher number (s).
