Course Description and Statement of Need
This two-day conference is intended for surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists, gastroenterologists, surgeons, primary care physicians and all other healthcare professionals who treat patients with primary or metastatic liver and pancreatic cancer.
In addition to lecture format presentations, the course will include the follow inginteractive instructional formats: debate and panel discussions, Q & A sessions, case discussions, and interactive video presentations. We are looking forward to providing you with the latest advances and future direction of the multidisciplinary management of common, unique and complex cases.

Learning Objectives
  • Recognize the potential relevance of neoadjuvant chemotherapy and radiotherapy for resectable and unresectable pancreatic cancer
  • Explain recent advances in multi-agent chemotherapy and potential novel targeted therapies for advanced pancreatic cancer
  • Use evidence-based national guidelines and prognostic indicators, such as the AJCC staging system
