Map and Directions

A one day workshop organized by the National Trust for Canada and its partner Faith and the Common Good for the City of Peterborough and surrounding area.

Places of faith in south-central Ontario, like so many across the country, face decreasing financial and human resources that is putting beloved community landmarks at risk.

This one-day workshop, aims to foster a constructive dialogue between the key players that need to address these issues: faith groups, heritage advocates, municipal officials, community groups. Through interactive panel discussions and small discussion groups, participants will learn how to tackle key issues threatening places of faith through community engagement strategies, cost reduction techniques, innovative space sharing models and successful re-use strategies.

Join us to hear inspiring examples and proven regeneration strategies from the Peterborough area and across the country.

The workshop will take place at Trinity United Church, 360 Reid St, Peterborough, Ontario.
