We want to thank our sponsors

Friday, October 13, 2017 - Sunday, October 15, 2017

Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District
400 Arch Street
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19106

We are very pleased to hold our Fifth Fast Forward in Philadelphia’s beautiful Historic District at the Wyndham Hotel! We want to extend a special welcome to students and early career psychologists.

Today’s marketplace for practicing clinical and forensic psychologists is certainly in flux. Traditional healthcare markets and reimbursement models are rapidly changing and especially likely to impact the solo or small group practitioner. Practicing psychologists who have a specialized niche in healthcare or who develop skill sets to work outside of healthcare settings such as forensics, assessment or consulting are likely to better adapt and even thrive in the new marketplace. This year, Fast Forward is pleased to feature, for the first time, a complete track of programming designed for both practicing clinical and forensic psychologists as well as programs aimed at practitioners interested in combining elements of both clinical and forensic practice.

In addition, we will also be featuring our signature Business of Practice programs for both clinical and forensic practitioners. Learn how to build successful niche practices in and outside of healthcare, in forensics and in consulting. You will also learn how and when to incorporate aspects of telepsychology into your practice in accordance with the latest APA Telepsychology Guidelines and the new proposed interstate compact on telepsychology, Psy Pact. Back by popular demand on Sunday, The Trust will present a special day long workshop: Legal and Ethical Risks and Risk Management in Professional Psychological Practice: Working with Couples and Families, Risk Management with the Suicidal Patient, and Legal and Ethical Issues Presented by Retirement. You can earn up to 20 hours of CE (with no extra fees) by attending all three days of Fast Forward.

Finally, most important, Fast Forward isn’t just about exceptional CE programming. We also strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for mentoring, networking and socializing with your colleagues from all around the country. Our Speed Mentoring program is a great opportunity for psychologists at all stages of their career to consult one on one with well-known experts in niche practice, business development, ethics, and marketing. In addition, we will also be hosting our popular dine arounds. Sign up for an opportunity to have dinner with your fellow Fast Forward attendees at a great local restaurant and make some new friends at the same time.

We look forward to seeing you in Philadelphia!
