There are no highways, no cities, no urban sounds and we like it that way!!
  • Horseback Riding (12:30-4:30pm) *min age 10 years old
    • Yellowstone Country is full of remote trails and wilderness just waiting to be explored.  Each horse is tailored to its rider, based on age, size, and experience.  Enjoy a leisurely ride through the spectacular pine forest and hanging meadows to unparalleled views into unspoiled Montana mountains, high above the Gallatin River Valley.  You will travel through open mount country which is home to bison, deer, and elk.  Please note the minimum age for participation, regardless of ability, is ten years old.
  • Whitewater Rafting (12:30-5:30pm) *min age 6 years old
    • Looking for an adrenaline rush?  Then experience Montana whitewater rafting at its best.  The Gallatin River is sure to impress!  It is one of the best whitewater runs in the Yellowstone/Teton area.  cruise through towering rock formations and some of the Gallatin’s most popular rapids. A few good soakings and the occasional wildlife sighting make this a great adventure. The river boasts class IV rapids in a section called “Mad Mile” over a mile long.  The Gallatin River was featured in A River Runs Through It and is extremely scenic.  This exciting adventure combines the thrill of whitewater with the magnificent views of the Gallatin Canyon.  Great for rafters of all experience levels.
  • Archery (11:10am-12:20pm) *min age 6 years old
    • Grab a bow and join us on the top of the mountain.  You will be hard pressed to find a better location to develop or hone your existing archery skills.  With a Genesis Compound Bow in hand it won’t be long until your arrows fly through the sky like Katniss Everdeen’s from The Hunger Games.
  • Lone Peak Expedition (11:15am-2pm or 2:00-4:30pm)
    • Jump aboard the tram to the ultimate scenic view which is sure to be a high point of your summer at the top of Lone Peak.  Stand at an 11,166ft summit and view tow national parks, three states, and many mountain ranges.  You’ll ride to the summit via chair lift, expedition vehicle, and tram with a guide to point out different areas, views, and more.  While you are taking in the views, keep an eye out of Billie and Nanny goats that call Lone Peak home.  You bring the camera and we will provide the binoculars!
Tuesday
  • Fly Fishing (12:30-5:15) *min age 8 years old
    • Southwest Montana is internationally known as one of the best fly fishing destinations in the world.  The beauty of fishing with a professional guide is that they take the mystery out of fly fishing for the beginner and can offer expert advice to the seasoned angler.  With unsurpassed scenery and native wild trout, the only thing you need to bring is a little enthusiasm to fill your trophy chest full of memories.
  • Skeet Shooting
    • Enjoy an afternoon of family fun shooting some skeet (clay disks) while immersed in nature.  Expert guides will provide a quick lesson on safety and technique.  Skeet shooting is the perfect activity for all ages.  First time shooters will receiver clear instructions while more experienced shooters will be provided with expert advice to help improve current skill levels.  Enjoy all this with the breathtaking Lone Peak as the backdrop.
  • Ziplining (12:15-3:30) *min weight 30lbs/max weight 220lbs
    • Ride up then down on Big Sky Resort’s Adventure Zipline Tour which is designed for speed.  Embark on the Explorer Double Chair and take in expansive views of Lone Mountain and the Spanish Peaks of the Madison Range.  Once you’re at the top of the chair, let the zipping begin.  Swoop your way down the mountain on four adrenaline pumping lines spanning up to 1,500 feet long and 150ft above the forest floor, including a twin zipline where you can race your fellow adventure zippers.
  • Lone Peak Expedition (11:15am-2pm or 2:00-4:30pm)

  • River Float Tour (12:30-5:30) *min age 6 years old
    • Scenic Float - Our most gentle trip but one of our favorites!  Our grand scenic tour glides you through the shadows of Lone Mountain, meandering through the upper canyon of the Gallatin River where we may even come upon deer, elk, moose or a bear.  A great trip for anyone who desires a mellow cruise through stunning scenery.  We will be on the water for about 2 hours.  Round trip from our facility will be 3 hours.  We have restrooms, changing rooms, gift store and snacks on site.
