Course Information:

Seeing My Time® is a unique, scaffolded approach to teaching patients how to develop the executive function skills of time management, planning and organization from the perspective of supporting your brain.

In this full-day training, educator Marydee Sklar, will guide you through her Seeing My Time workbook. It was carefully created to develop a concrete awareness of the spatial aspect of time through the use of hands-on, muliti-sensory activities. It builds the metacognitive foundation needed to change personal time-management behavior.

You will come away with practical tools and strategies to:

•   be on time

•   complete daily tasks

•   manage multiple roles

•   support working memory

•   develop daily and weekly plans/to-dos

•   break complex tasks into steps

•   reach deadlines without being overwhelmed

•   create long-term goals

•   work on your long-term goals

•   motivate task initiation for things you don’t want to do

•   handle piles

•   manage papers

•   calm down your emotional brain

This workshop will enable you to help your patients (and yourself) to improve productivity and a sense of being purposeful with how you use your time.
