ABOUT IWTO AND THE CONGRESS

The IWTO Congress is the Annual Meeting point for the entire wool industry including growers, traders, primary processors, spinners, weavers and garment manufacturers, together with retailers and other organisations involved in the wool-related pipeline.  Our Congresses are attended by high level management representatives.  For more information on organisations who have participated in the past click here.

ONLINE REGISTRATION

Once you have registered online you may at any time review or make changes to your booking simply by clicking on the link shown in the confirmation email sent to you upon completion of your registration.

Your hotel booking will be made directly with the hotel and a link will be shown at the end of the online registration.

 
REGISTRATION FEES

The registration fees are as follows:
Early Bird (until 15 March 2012): USD 1450
Regular Fee (after 15 March 2012): USD 1550
Non-Member Fee: USD 1885
Spouse/Partner Fee: USD 350

During online registration you may select to pay either by credit card or bank transfer to American Sheep Industry Association and an receipt/invoice will be issued via the online registration system.

The fee includes the following :

  • Attendance at all IWTO Congress Sessions
  • Simultaneous Interpretation (English <> Chinese) in main conference room
  • Lunches

CONGRESS FACILITIES

The Congress will take place in the Millennium Broadway Hotel in New York City, and the Conference Sessions will take place in the splendid Hudson Theater which is adjacent to the Hotel.

VISA AND INVITATION LETTER

It is very important to check in good time if you will be needing a visa for the USA as some consulates require quite some time to issue these.  You can click on this link to check if you need a visa and if that is not clear then please contact your local US consulate.

If you are an eligible national for the ESTA Visa Waiver Program then please follow the instructions in the above link.  If you need a visa invitation letter or any other assistance please contact meetings@iwto.org.

TRANSPORTATION FROM/TO AIRPORT

Airport transfers are not included in the registration fee.  The following transport options are available:

1. Private transfer: If you would like IWTO to organise an airport transfer for you, please contact us at meetings@iwto.org

2. Taxi: available outside the airports.

3. SuperShuttle: this is a door-to-door shared minibus service from the airport to hotel operating 24 hrs a day - reservations at SuperShuttle and prices start at US$ 21.
