Lynea Gillen, MS/RYT, is a child and family counselor, award-winning author, yoga teacher and PSU adjunct faculty member. She has over 30 years of experience as a school teacher and counselor, and has taught the Yoga Calm Wellness System to over 1000 teachers, counselors and therapists across the country.
Jeff Albin, CDP, has worked as an Intervention and Prevention Specialist for ESD 112 in rural Washington schools. His background includes over 10 years running high ropes courses, teaching sea kayaking and co-leading the first joint USSR/USA kayak expedition in the former Soviet Union. Jeff is also a Certified Yoga Calm Instructor and has extensive wilderness and survival skills experience. Author of Changing the Message.
Jim Gillen, RYT-500, is the cofounder of Yoga Calm and director of Still Moving Yoga. He previously taught and developed youth programs for Saturday Academy, the National Science Foundation and the National Sports Center for the Disabled. He currently co-teaches Yoga Calm for Children and Jedi training classes at the Children’s Program in Portland.
Offered cooperatively by Portland State University, Continuing Education in the Graduate School of Education (CE/ED) and Still Moving Yoga, LLC. One PSU Undergraduate or Graduate Credit and/or 10 CEU/Clock Hours available. Coursework qualifies for professional development credit. Certificate of training hours provided.
The Course Fee is payable directly to Still Moving Yoga, LLC, and the PSU Credit Fee is payable to Portland State University. Both fees are collected by Still Moving Yoga, LLC.
