Please join us to celebrate MD-AEP's 3rd Annual Energy & Environmental Leadership Series Banquet at the Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology, home of the world's first wholly sustainable aquaculture system. We are honored that the Philippines Ambassador to the United States The Honorable Jose Cuisia Jr. will join us as our keynote speaker and we are excited to also have  representatives from the Korean Embassy, Philippines Embassy, Singapore Embassy, the Thailand Embassy, the Vietnamese Embassy and the Asian Development Bank in attendance. 

We also look forward to hearing business  leadership insights provided from James L. Connaughton, Executive Vice President of Constellation Energy (former White House Chairman of the Council on Environmental Quality) and Coca-Cola Refreshment’s Environmental Manager Joseph Richardson to set the tone for the evening.

Chancellor of the University System of Maryland Dr. William E. Kirwan will present MD-AEP's 2011 MD Energy & Environmental Leadership Award to Dr. Donald Boesch, President of the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science for which annually recognizes a Maryland leader who has provided both state and national leadership on energy and environment issues. Other awardees include, Thomas Sprehe, Senior Vice President, Environmental Discipline Manager, KCI Technologies, the recipient of MD-AEP's Business Partner of the Year Award; and Bradley Gillenwater, Regional Asia Manager, Department of Business and Economic Development the recipient of MD-AEP's Sustainable Economic Development Award.

This is a great event to bring your spouse and business colleagues.  We expect a fantastic crowd and a fun evening of celebration at this wonderful facility.  Please join MD-AEP and our stakeholders from the Asian embassy community, business, government and academia for an elegant evening with Asian dance, music, food, and great company as we pay tribute to MD-AEP’s 2011 Energy and Environmental Leadership Award winners.
