Workshop for Emerging
Deaf and Hard of Hearing Scientists
We are hosting a two-day workshop at Gallaudet University for high school, college, and graduate students and developing professionals who are engaged in a career in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) on May 17-18, 2012.
Deaf and hard-of-hearing students and professionals will have the opportunity to network and interact with other scientists from many different STEM disciplines. Participants will have the chance to exchange their experiences, discuss available STEM resources, and most importantly develop strategies to succeed at all levels of STEM-education and in the workplace.
The workshop promises to be an exciting and fulfilling one! Registration is only $75.00 to cover the cost of meals during the workshop for non-scholarship registrants. We look forward to seeing you there!
