The annual COPA Migration is the biggest event of the year for Cirrus pilots. In honor of celebrating the tenth Cirrus Owners and Pilots Association Migration, we’re going back “home” to Duluth, Minn. – the birthplace of all our Cirrus aircraft. For all who have attended Migrations in Duluth, there will be new surprises and old favorites; and for those of you who haven’t, you will have the chance to experience “life by the lake” Minnesota-style! For 2012, we’re planning the event like any traditional school “homecoming” by pulling out all the stops for a great get-together, celebrating both our past and future.

Suggested fly-in arrival: Thurs. 9:00 AM-4:00 PM
Critical Decision Making seminar: Thurs. 8:00 AM - 12:00 AM (free)
First Migration event: Thursday evening 6:30 PM
Last Migration event: Saturday Evening 6:30 PM
Suggested departure: Sunday AM

If you register June 14 or later, we cannot guarantee you will receive items such as clothing in the sizes you need or guarantee meal menu selections

Registration Options

Adult/Main 3-day: Includes admission to all conferences and exhibits (Thursday evening through Saturday evening), Thursday COPA Cabana event, Friday night Annual COPA Banquet and the Saturday evening “Goodbye and Fly” dinner as well as lunch Friday and Saturday at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center (DECC).

Adult Spouse (or Domestic Partner) 3-day: This registration type is valid only for a spouse or domestic partner (residing in the same household and registering together using a single payment) accompanying another registrant who is paying the full adult event fee. Includes admission to all conferences and exhibits (Thursday evening through Saturday evening), Thursday COPA Cabana event, Friday night Annual COPA Banquet and the Saturday evening “Goodbye and Fly” dinner as well as lunch Friday and Saturday at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center (DECC). Adult spouse attendees will have the option to register for a special trip to the scenic North Shore of Lake Superior on Saturday, July 7. 

Junior/Student Age (16-22) 3-day: This registration type is valid only for a junior accompanying an adult registrant who is paying the full Adult event fee. They must register together using a single payment. Includes admission to all conferences and exhibits (Thursday evening through Saturday evening), Thursday COPA Cabana event, Friday night Annual COPA Banquet and the Saturday evening “Goodbye and Fly” dinner as well as lunch Friday and Saturday at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center (DECC).

Child/Youth Age (5-15) 3-day: This registration type is valid only for a child/youth aged 5-15 (registering together using a single payment) accompanying another registrant who is paying the full Adult event fee. Includes the Camp COPA youth activity program and lunch and dinner from Thursday through Saturday evening. This group has a separate program and does not attend the Friday Banquet.

1-day registrations: Includes a single day of access as listed above in the 3-day registrations, and a single contiguous evening event for the period chosen. For example, Thursday evening event plus Friday daytime activities (but not the Friday evening event); or all day and evening on either Friday or Saturday. (1-day registrants do not receive the event gift assortment.)

Payment & Refunds

Migration Cancellation Protection: Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase the Optional Cancellation Protection. Experience has shown that cancellations occur for a variety of unforeseen personal, professional, and other reasons; participants should consider purchasing the protection plan. Migration Cancellation Protection is offered for all participants for a fee equal to 17% of the total attendance fee paid. [NOTE: All registrations cancelled prior to 14 days (June 21) before Migration will receive a full refund of all Migration registration fees regardless of the reason for or timing of the cancellation.] After June 21, 2012 COPA will be committed to the cost of the facilities and other fixed expenses. Only those registrations that have the cancellation protection will receive a refund. Cancellation protection does NOT include the hotel, which you'll be booking separately, and which has its own cancellation policy. If you cancel or alter your Migration reservation prior to June 21, 2012, the following shall apply:

* If the participant has purchased the Migration Cancellation Protection premium, it is nonrefundable.

* If the participant cancels the entire reservation, the M10 registration fee shall be refunded in full.

* If the participant reduces the reservation (e.g., your adult/partner cannot attend, the kids stay home, etc.), that portion of your registration fee shall be refunded in full.

* Cancellation of any hotel, car, pre-Migration symposium or other reservation will be the sole responsibility of the participant.

Cancellations received after June 21 that have the optional cancellation protection will receive 100% of their registration fees. The Migration Cancellation Protection premium is nonrefundable.

Cancellations received after June 21 without cancellation insurance or no-shows will not have their registration refunded.
