The Society for Financial Education and Professional Development, Inc. invites you to the Fifth Annual Financial Literacy Leadership Conference.  The conference will be held on October 15-16, 2012 at the Washington Court Hotel (Capitol Hill), 525 New Jersey Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20001.

This professional development conference will bring financial educators and other professionals together to increase their knowledge, establish new partnerships, strategies and networks with the ultimate goal to help individuals and families maximize their financial resources.  Financial educators, policymakers and researchers recognize this professional development conference as a venue of choice.  In fact, based on a survey of last year’s conference attendees, 96.7% stated that the conference met their expectations.

The theme of the Fifth Annual Financial Literacy Leadership Conference is “Financial Literacy, A Tool for Financial Success.”  Conference speakers will introduce new information, ideas, research and key components of effective financial literacy programs.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations must be made in writing

A $50.00 service fee will be deducted from refunds.

Cancellations must be postmarked or submitted via email by September 15, 2012, to Una Daniels-Edwards at   Refunds will be processed after the conference.

Paid registration(s) is transferable to a replacement registrant from the same company.

Refunds are not available due to non-attendance.

    Early Bird Rate: $250.00

    General Registration Rate:  $275.00

    Please note there is a special registration rate of $225.00 (early bird registration) and $250.00 (general registration) for those individuals who stay at the conference hotel.  Registrants may pick up a $25.00 rebate claim form at the conference registration table.  Checks will be issued after the conference.

    Hotel Rates:  Hotel room rates will be available at $279.00 single/double plus applicable taxes.
