Two workshops, one at 10AM and another at 1PM, will prepare military members and veterans for the job fair on the following day held across the street at the Indiana Convention Center.

Workshops will help participants with:

            1)  Resumes - format and structure along with content

            2)  Translating military work experience into "civilianese"

            3)  The "Elevator Speech"- the ability to express who you are
and what you want to do in a clear and concise manner

            4)  How to make a great first impression to employers in an
                 interview

By attending this workshop, job seeking participants will be afforded individualized attention with GE's own veteran employees.  One-on-one mentoring and coaching in preparation for the job fair the next day will be available to all workshop participants that pre-register.
