Join Stuart Rothenberg, M.D. the National Director of the American Association of Health Professionals Practicing Transcendental Meditation, and Mario Orsatti and Linda Mainquist, Directors of the TM Program of Bethesda for a FREE seminar introducing TM entitled:

Transcendental Meditation for Physicians, Allied Professionals, and Students

Transcendental Meditation is a simple, effortless mental technique for reducing stress and unfolding mental potential. Hundreds of peer-reviewed studies have documented a wide range of health benefits, including improved memory and cognitive function, reduced anxiety and depression, reduced hypertension and other cardiovascular risk factors, and increased longevity.

The presentation will include an Introduction to the TM technique with review of research (50 minutes) followed by a Preparatory talk describing the mechanics of the technique and how it differs from other forms of meditation (30 minutes). Following the presentations, those interested in learning the TM technique will have the opportunity to enroll in the course of instruction, which will be offered at UM-Baltimore in the coming weeks.
