The U.S.-India Business Council (USIBC), the Global Intellectual Property Center (GIPC), and the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) will be leading a Mission to India.  The Mission will kick-off in Delhi on September 10-11, 2012 where participants will partake in bilateral meetings with key government officials and agencies in New Delhi, including the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Pharmaceuticals, Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Department of Commerce, the Planning Commission, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO), and others.  Also in New Delhi, Mission participants will tour Apollo Hospital and participate in a roundtable discussion with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on key policy issues with Indian stakeholders.

On September 12-13, 2012 Mission participants will travel to Mumbai, India to partake and participate in the BIO India 2012 Conference.  The Mission will conclude on September 14, 2012 with meetings with the Director Controller General of Patents and the Government of Maharashtra.
