CrossFit Powerlifting will be
taught with the techniques used by Louie Simmons of Westside Barbell. Mark Bell and Jesse Burdick will be presenting
these methods at this course. Spend 2 days learning the Backsquat,
Deadlift, and Bench Press using techniques that have allowed Louie
Simmons to create the most successful powerlifters in the world. This
course is not for the faint of heart. You will be jumping right into a
very intense lifting environment.
Over the many years that Louie has been involved in Powerlifting, he
has gained a vast amount of knowledge on how to produce strength.
Through experience, the percent training method, conjugate training
method, dynamic training method, maximum effort method, lifting
techniques, raising work capacity, rehabilitation and restoration, and
reactive and contrast method have become his area of expertise. It is
this knowledge and expertise that has lead to the production of 25 World
and National champions, 27 lifters who have totaled over 2000 lbs and a
world record in the 400m dash by Butch Reynolds. Also, Louie's methods
of training have resulted in thirty-three 550lb benchers, eighteen
600lb benchers, and five 700lb benchers. Also to his credit are
twenty-eight 800lb plus squatters, ten 900lb plus squatters, and three
1000lb plus squatters.
As a result of Louie's experience and knowledge, over 100 training
articles have been published and 7 training videos produced. He also is
the creator of the Reverse Hyper 5356,359 and 6,491,607b2 machine,
patented in 1993. He is a strength consultant for the Cleveland Browns,
Green Bay Packers, New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks, and numerous
college football teams. He is also a strength consultant for many
athletes from around the world.

FAQ #1: Are there any pre-requisites for the course?
No. Anyone can attend; however, to receive a Trainer Certificate for the CrossFit Powerlifting Trainer Course one must hold a valid and current CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate. If you attend and do not hold a valid and current CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate, you will be issued a Certificate of Attendance.
FAQ #2: What are the requirements for becoming a CrossFit PowerliftingTrainer?
The requirements for this credential are stringent, primarily for your protection and the safety of those you train. They are:
1. Holding a valid and current CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate
2. 100% course attendance
3. 100% participation
FAQ #3: When will I receive my certificate?
You will receive your certificate at the completion of the seminar
price of this course is $595 USD. Please place a $250 deposit to
secure your space in the course.
You can continue to make payments as long as your balance is paid in
full three weeks prior to the course. Please make sure you are
paid in full three weeks before the course you will forfeit your
place in the course.
