James Urban brings his book, Up By Roots: Healthy Soils and Trees in the Built Environment, to life with a day of hands-on instruction highlighting key soil and site assessment techniques. These skills are critical for arborists, landscape architects, architects, planners, and urban foresters, who design, specify, install, or manage trees in the built environment.

All registrants can purchase a copy of Up By Roots at a discounted price. Books ordered at the time of registration - by selecting the "purchasing book" option - can be picked up at the workshop. Registration options include:

$195 Non Member (not purchasing book)
$110 *Student (purchasing book) - limited spaces
$50 *Student (not purchasing book) - limited spaces.

*Full time students must show current student ID when registering (please email or fax)

Registration fee includes box lunch

Onsite Registration:

Onsite registrations will only be accepted if capacity has not been reached by the pre-event registration deadline. The two onsite registration options are:

$290 Registration and book purchase (if available)
$220 Registration only

ISA and ASLA membership discounts are not available for onsite registrants

Registration:

Online registrations will conclude on Friday, January 11, 2013 unless the seat maximum has been reached before that date. After Friday, January 11, 2013, registrations will be accepted onsite only if seats are available.

To register by email, fax, or mail use the printable registration form. Forms must be received by Friday, January 11, 2013.

Cancellation Policy:

A processing fee of $50 will be charged for all cancellations. Cancellation requests must be emailed to conferencereg@isa-arbor.com. No cancellations will be accepted after Friday, January 11, 2013.
