Please note that only a limited number of spaces are available for on-site registration.  Walk-ins will be accommodated on a space-available basis.  On-site payments must be made via credit card.

Online Registration

The deadline for submitting your online registration and payment is July 1, 2013.  Payment is due upon registration if paying via credit card or upon receipt of your online invoice if paying by another method.  Space cannot be guaranteed for any registration that is not paid in full by this date.  Advance registration is strongly encouraged.


On-site Registration/Information Desk Hours
 
If you are unable to finalize your plans or payment by July 1, you may still register at the on-site registration desk, which will be available at the Hilton Shanghai Hotel on Saturday, July 13, beginning at 2:00 pm.  On-site registrations will be accepted on a space-available basis and must be paid via credit card.

What's Included

General Participant and Standard Student registration include a welcome reception and dinner on July 13; sessions, breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks on July 14; a closing reception on July 14; and any meeting materials.

Sessions-Only Student registration excludes all meals.

Accompanying Persons are welcome at the two receptions and conference dinner.


Hotel Accommodations

A block of rooms has been made available at the Hilton Shanghai Hotel for the nights of July 12, 13, and 14.  Please book online here.  Rooms are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis; it is advised you make your reservations early.


Cancellations, Changes & Refunds

Requests for cancellations, substitutions or other changes may be made online until July 1, 2013.  To cancel or make a change after that date, please send email to conferences-www@mit.edu.  

Refunds for cancellations received in writing on or before July 1 will be granted less a $25 processing fee.  No refunds will be granted after that date.  No refunds will be given for portions of the registration not being used.  All refunds will be made in US dollars and will be processed in the manner in which the original payment was submitted, with the possible exception of wire payments which, at the organizers' discretion, may be refunded via check.  If a refund is made via wire transfer, any bank fees will be deducted from the refund. Credit card refunds will be issued to the original card.
