Map and Directions

Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, such as preeclampsia, are a leading cause of maternal mortality and neonatal morbidity and mortality, in part, because of a failure of health care providers to recognize and respond to the warning signs. This course is designed to address that gap and will provide physicians with the latest information regarding the evaluation and treatment of preeclampsia. Expert faculty will provide participants with an extensive review and the necessary tools and treatment strategies to successfully confront preeclampsia in their practice setting. Designed to introduce real-life solutions that are currently applicable and available to the primary care physician, the symposium will include didactic and case based sessions, with real-time audience polling to encourage participation and interaction. Attendees will be provided with additional resources to enhance and sustain their learning, including electronic versions of the course material and web links to access more information regarding the subjects discussed at the conference.
