Mobile Application Security and Security Development Introduction

Learn the concepts and steps necessary to develop secure mobile applications in you organization.

Students will learn mobile hacking techniques and remediation strategies for Android and iPhone operating systems. They will understand platform security models, mobile application secure design, mobile application security errors, mobile application vulnerabilities related to in-house development. Exploiting techniques for operating system components are
explained in the extent they may impact on a company SSDLC process for their mobile applications.

This course will provide students with the knowledge necessary to understand to address common issues in the Owasp Mobile Top 10 and to build stronger mobile applications.

Students will come out with an understanding of the pitfalls to mobile application security and the importance of developing safer mobile applications.

Skill Level: Medium
The users should be able to be guided into performing attacks against sample mobile applications. Applications expose sets of different type of issues to understand the most frequent weaknesses and the different design models.

Implement secure coding techniques into your mobile development lifecycle to protect mobile applications and mobile users from high risk attacks related to mobile application security.

Communicate mobile device security threats and the risks associated with mobile devices from an enterprise perspective.
