Are you tired of kissing frogs?

Your ability to successfully innovate involves a lot more than closing your eyes and hoping for the best. Successful innovations are generally the result of carefully orchestrated leadership and, while every organization is different, certain elements can be seen as common in the implementation process.

Over the last 18 months, Celent has worked with an increasing number of clients on the challenges associated with innovating within financial services firms. Throughout the process, we have been having an ongoing dialog with the people who are leading the charge around innovation on how they are managing to overcome financial and organizational challenges while continuing to innovate. A common thread among these discussions has been the desire to engage with others facing similar issues in order to learn from their experiences. In response, we are hosting our first Innovation Roundtable in San Francisco.

This exclusive, invitation-only event will involve senior leaders from banking, insurance, and securities firms. This four-hour interactive session is a peer-to-peer discussion between innovation leaders, facilitated by Celent analysts and supplemented by Celent research.  Participants will have the opportunity to exchange views with senior level peers on how to increase the innovation capability within financial services organizations. The topics will focus on practical implementation and direct experience – what has worked as well as what has not. Areas that will be covered in the discussion include:
  • Spotting emerging business and social trends and determining how financial services should change in response
  • Building and sustaining momentum for innovation within organizations
  • Using social tools inside financial services companies to facilitate innovation
  • Engaging younger employees in identifying and implementing innovative business models
The Roundtable will be followed by a networking cocktail hour at San Francisco's Press Club to allow participants to continue their discussions and to connect on a more informal level with industry peers.
