This conference is co-sponsored by the University of Colorado College of Nursing Office of Lifelong Learning and Children's Hospital Colorado Advanced Practice Council, with support from the CU Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.

This 1.5 day conference provides clinical updates in evidence-based care for a variety of diagnoses for advanced practice providers. In addition, many of the presentations integrate pharmacy content presented by expert clinical pharmacists. Excellent reviews in 2011, 2012 and 2013!

Target Audience:
Advanced Practice Nurses, Physician Assistants, Pharmacists, Physicians, and other health care professionals who are seeking updated information for providers caring for pediatric and young adult populations in primary, ambulatory and urgent care settings.

Students are welcome although we are unable to offer a student discount.

Continuing Education Credit:
Registered Nurses and Advanced Practice Nurses 
Nursing (CNE Credit - standard plus pharmacology hours):

The University of Colorado College of Nursing is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Colorado Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

This offering for a total of 11.75 contact hours (7.25 on 4/7 & 4.5 on 4/8) is provided by the College of Nursing (Pharmacology credit to be determined). A CNE certificate will be emailed to participants within 30 days after the conference. 
A Certificate of Attendance is also available upon request.

Physician Assistants, Physicians and Advanced Practice Nurses 
Medical (CME Credit):

Children's Hospital Colorado is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  

Children’s Hospital Colorado designates this live activity for a maximum of 11.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s).™ Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. 

This conference provides 7.75 contact hours of knowledge-based education. To receive CPE credit, participants must submit a completed statement of attendance and completed evaluations. CE statements will be distributed within 6 weeks.

NAPNAP Members Nursing Continuing Education Credit:

NAPNAP approved credit will be provided by the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
