Course Dercription

Needless to say, selecting a qualified contractor for your public works project is crucial. In this workshop public works experts, John Carpita and Mike Purdy, will teach you how to choose a responsive and responsible contractor, and verify that they meet your mandatory and supplemental criteria. The workshop will also guide you through when to require supplemental criteria submissions at bid time and how to make sure that criteria is meaningful and effective.  The afternoon session will include table exercises in establishing supplemental criteria with guest contractors.
