Washington Finance Officers Association Membership

Welcome to the Washington Finance Officers Association (WFOA)!

WFOA, a nonprofit organization governed under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code, promotes excellence in governmental finance through leadership, education, and communication.  Our members include state and local government officials; counties, cities, schools, transits, libraries, and special districts to name a few.

Member Services

Throughout the year, WFOA sponsors meetings, seminars, and workshops across the state.  In addition to the non-conference training, the annual Fall Conference offers a plethora of educational opportunities which are enhanced by the opportunity to meet others to exchange ideas and views.  Members are encouraged to become active in one or more of our committees.  The list of committees is located on the WFOA website, http://www.wfoa.org.

Newsletters are published, usually quarterly, to disseminate pertinent information to our members.

The WFOA has a very active scholarship program for our members, designed to provide access to educational opportunities, especially those offered by the WFOA.
