Wildcat Speed and Agility Development Camp

The Northern Michigan University Track & Field coaching staff will be conducting a camp devoted to the overall development of sports speed, agility and power. Whatever your sport, the foundation of athletic success consists of speed, agility and power. Develop sports-specific speed to be used in baseball, basketball, cross country, football, soccer, softball, tennis, track & field and more. The coaching staff will teach the fundamentals of the correct way to run as well as proven training techniques of how to increase speed, quickness and further develop agility. This camp will help improve the overall athleticism that will maximize each camper's performance in his or her respective sport.

This is an instructional camp. Participants take part in several types of warm ups, demonstrations, drills, and instructional stations. Since skill levels of campers may vary from beginner to advanced, instruction is individualized to handle such a spectrum. Campers use Northern Michigan University athletic facilities, including practice areas and equipment.
