Global Trade Compliance Forum
On February 7, 2014, AAEI will be holding an "invitation only" event open to trade compliance professionals with the title of Global Trade Director (or a trade professional who has responsibility for global trade operations) employed by a company which manufactures, imports and exports goods. This event is specifically designed for those trade professionals who have built or are in the process of building their Global Trade Organization to reduce the risks of noncompliance by implementing standard policies and procedures throughout the company’s global operations.
The session will be a half-day event with two sessions: a Benchmarking Session on global trade compliance program issues (e.g., structuring your program, hiring trade professionals overseas) and a "table top" exercise with customs administrations using data from past trade interruptions. If you are a Global Trade Director (or have similar responsibilities) and would like to attend this event, please contact Marianne Rowden (firstname.lastname@example.org) for the discount code to register.
