Session II – Pain Management for Patients with Neck and Back Disorders

Upon completion of the seminar series, participants will be able to:

1. Develop an in-depth understanding of the mechanisms leading to the development of chronic pain
2. Patient education, counseling, and exercise strategies for managing chronic back and neck pain and spinal-related lower and upper extremity pain
3. Review and practice of the segmental mobility assessment and spinal manipulative procedures for the lumbar, thoracic, and cervical spine
4. Gain a high level of effectiveness with the clinical reasoning and motor skills required to integrate manipulative procedures into the provision of evidence-based physical therapy patient management.
