From start to finish, the focus is on developing a personal action plan in order to solidify your commitment to an informed sensitive practice. The course is built around the most up to date research in the areas of social and cultural psychology, as well as cognitive ecology.

Because learning is a social process and each learner has unique needs, self-study participants are never left alone. A facilitator will always be there to provide confidential help along the way. The fancy term for the help we provide is scaffolding. Over the past 5 years, self-study participants have required no more than 7 hours, with some participants choosing to complete it in 1 day.

We recommend that self-study participants download the fillable PDF reference workbook on the course homepage. The self-study workbook is a great way for participants to keep track of the big ideas of each module as well as their personal reflection.

All you will require is a web browser to enjoy a rich multimedia learning opportunity.

At the close of the session, the workshop facilitator will require you to develop your own Personal Action Plan in order to solidify a commitment to culturally sensitive practice.

You can work through the course at your own paced. Budget between 5 to 7 hours for the whole course. Most people complete the training in 1 day or within 10 days.

Each lesson closes with a quiz. You will need to score an average of 70% across all short assignments and quizzes in order to receive a certificate of completion.
