The NSERC CREATE-ISS Sensors Summer School is a student-run initiative of the NSERC CREATE-ISS Program. The NSERC CREATE Training Program in Integrated Sensor Systems prepares outstanding students for a career in the field of integrated sensor systems. It is funded by NSERC in collaboration with McGill University, École Polytechnique de Montréal, Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique (INRS), and Université de Sherbrooke.

This year, the Sensors Summer School will bring together students and accomplished researchers from both academia and the industry to discuss the latest advancements in sensor technologies. The event will include speakers, facility visits, and a student poster competition with $150 in prizes! Kevin Kornelsen, Teledyne DALSA

Food, soft and alcoholic beverages 
will be available and are included in the registration fee! We hope to see you there!

Registration: $20 - 1-day attendance; $25 - full event
by April 30th at 11:59 pm
(late/on-site registration: $30)

Poster competition
maximum 4" x 4" poster dimensions


Walking directions to the venue (approximately 15 minutes from Université de Montréal metro station):
  1. At the Université de Montréal metro station, exit on your left to go outside and go up the moving walkway.
  2. At the top of the moving walkway, exit on your left.
  3. When outside, follow the path to your right all the way (200 meters) to Pavillon McKay-Lassonde (no need to get off the sidewalk!).
  4. Enter Pavillon McKay-Lassonde and take the escalators until you reach the 6th floor.
  5. Walk along the computer hallway and go up the stairs leading to the cafeteria.
  6. Continue forward to pass through the cafeteria and take the exit on your right to go outside.
  7. Go straight ahead and you'll find your destination (at last!) on your left: Pavillon Joseph-Armand Bombardier.
