CrossFit Movement and Mobility Course

Start and end times: 9am - 5pm. Lunch mid-day 45 minutes

A list of the needed equipment  will be embedded in your registration confirmation email that you will receive as soon as you register. Please bring the items with you to the course.

This one-day seminar is a performance oriented workshop for athletes and coaches wishing to develop effective mobility and flexibility strategies, improve ideal athlete positioning and movement set-up, and implement whole-body maintenance practices. Attendees will understand how to: Improve force production, increase work outputs, avoid common and preventable movement dysfunction and injury, and understand how to address simple performance related myo-fascial and joint mobility issues.
Improve understanding of key anatomical elements as they relate to functional movement, and as performance limiters.

  • Understand movement compromise strategies for specific movement outcomes.
  • Develop an understanding of common movement dysfunctions and a systematic model for addressing common problems associated with strength and conditioning training.
  • Develop effective abdominal/spine stabilization strategies
  • Understand and apply neuro-muscular stretching methods
  • Understand methods to improve overhead positioning and efficacy
  • Develop methods to address common myo-fascial pain/dysfunction
  • Understand how to treat soft tissue injuries
  • Develop better movement preparation strategies


Frequently Asked Questions


#1: Are there any pre-requisites for the course?

No. Anyone can attend; however, to receive a Trainer Certificate for the CrossFit Movement and Mobility Trainer Course one must hold a valid and current CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate. If you attend and do not hold a valid and current CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate, you will be issued a Certificate of Attendance.

#2: What are the requirements for becoming a CrossFit Movement and Mobility Trainer?

The requirements for this credential are stringent, primarily for your protection and the safety of those you train. They are:
1. Holding a valid and current CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate
2. 100% course attendance
3. 100% participation

#3: When will I receive my certificate?

You will receive your certificate at the completion of the seminar

The CrossFit Movement & Mobility Course will be presented by one of the CrossFit Movement and Mobility Seminar Staff including: Dr. Kelly Starrett, Jami Tikkanen, Osteopath Dr. Roop Sihota, Dr. Theresa Larson or Dr. Danny Matta.

Payment Instructions

  • The fee for the CrossFit Movement and Mobility Trainer Course is $349 (US dollars).  Payment can be made via credit card or check.  The final balance is due paid in full three weeks prior to the course or your spot will be forfeited.  A $150 deposit is necessary to hold your place and payments may be made until three weeks prior to the course start date.

    Credit card payments can be made online during the course registration and the exchange rate is calculated automatically for payments drawn against non-US banks.

    Checks are accepted in US funds ONLY.  You must indicate for whom and for what course the payment is to be applied on the check.  In addition, complete and send this form with the check, using one of the two following options for sending the form and the check:
