Women remain an important thread in the fabric of American agriculture. Recent 2012 Census data released this spring shows women make up over 30% of all farm operators! More young women are returning to the farm to manage human resources, financial reporting, record keeping, as well as production and technology areas on working farms.

As we transition the next generation of women farm managers and owners, the need to provide education on farm business practices has never been greater. Top Producer is proud to offer the Executive Women in Agriculture (EWA) conference, an event dedicated exclusively to women in agriculture

Now in its fourth year, EWA continues to feature dynamic keynote speakers and educational breakout sessions, as well as unique networking opportunities with women farm owners and operators from around the country. This year, join us for the following:

  • High-energy panel discussions with women farm owners, managers and decision-makers on America’s top farms.
  • Business and finance education breakouts with take-home information you can put to use on your farm today!
  • The latest news on policy, markets and advocacy issues.
  • NEW this year – a farm to table panel discussion with Chicago’s top chefs! You won’t want to miss this lively discussion about food between women ag producers and urban chefs.
  • Our annual Friday luncheon speaker who will motivate and inspire!

Hear from Julie Borlaug, Associate Director for
    External Relations, Borlaug Institute for
International Agriculture at Texas A&M Agrilife,
who continues the legacy of her Nobel Prize
winning grandfather Norman Borlaug through her
work on hunger and ag advocacy.
