Introduction
The Directors Compliance Programme (“DCP’) is a programme organised by ACRA, for directors who fail to comply with the annual return filing requirements under the Companies Act (Cap. 50). Such directors will be identified by ACRA and be invited to attend the DCP. Such directors who attend the DCP will be granted waiver of penalties and prosecution, if applicable.

Singapore Institute of Directors (“SID”) is our contractor for the provision of training, training management services and related services.

The Active Network (ASIA) Pte Ltd is our contractor for the provision of online registration cum e-payment portal, course fee collection services and related services.

Objective

The aim of the programme is to provide training for them with a focus and emphasis on essential statutory requirements for compliance, towards the broader objective to develop and promote strong corporate governance for companies in Singapore.

Outline

The DCP will cover topics which are essential and of direct relevance to directors of companies in Singapore on their
• fiduciary and statutory duties, 
• penalties for non-compliance, 
• Including reporting, filing and other administrative requirements under the Companies Act.
