PEC 2015 is for meeting planners, suppliers, students and hospitality faculty who are struggling to keep apprised of the fast paced changes taking place in the meetings industry. This event will bring together seasoned meeting professionals, and the next generation, to “map” together the future successes of attendees and the industry as a whole.

Unlike similar education programs, PEC 2015 is designed to focus on connecting educational institutions with industry experts by combining traditional keynote, panel discussion, and networking sessions.

Recommended Attire:
Enjoy PEC in business casual attire. Meeting rooms tend to be chilly.  Dressing in layers, for added comfort, is recommended.

Community Service:
The mission of Rose Brooks Center is “to break the cycle of domestic violence so that individuals and families can live free of abuse.” Rose Brooks spends much of their time and resources with the children and teens, which is based on one fact…a child who witnesses violence is four times more likely to be violent or a victim of violence as an adult.

Therefore, Rose Brooks decided they must have a presence in the schools.  Through the innovation of Project SAFE, children and teens dealing with violence in their school, neighborhood or home get counseling at school.  This program helps children build the confidence and self-esteem they need to progress through school, and receive the support needed to plan for their future.

KCMPI will focus on school supplies for our donations for this event.  Some ideas are crayons, pencils, markers, notebook paper, erasers, glue, scissors, and tape.  Please make a difference in the lives of Rose Brooks’ children by dropping off your donation at the registration desk when you arrive for the  April 15th  Professional Education Conference.
