Ethics for Educators - Des Moines

     This course reviews ethics as defined by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners. Participants examine various ethical situations along with actual cases that the Board has addressed. Topics include: technology do’s and don’ts; contracts and resignations; relationships with students, parents, and colleagues; and the dichotomy of a school employee’s life. It includes a method to use when making decisions and is a highly interactive course.

Class is available for 1 (one) hour graduate and relicensure credit, paraeducator credit, Audit and CEUs (members/non-members).

Cancellation Policy:

Do not wait to register late!
We cancel courses 5 days before the class begins when they do not have enough participants!


You are considered registered and obligated to pay for your space in the class unless you contact ISEA in advance to let us know otherwise. 

All cancellations must be received in writing or electronically 5 days prior to class starting
.

No refunds will be issued on cancellations received after that date.

ISEA reserves the right to cancel any course in the event of insufficient registration, in which case a full refund will be returned. If we are forced to cancel a course for reasons beyond our control, it will be rescheduled for a later date. If you cannot attend on the rescheduled date, you will receive a full refund. If, for any reason, the course is not held, ISEA will refund the registration fee paid.
