Available Events

MIT SDM has planned the following events for October 2015:

  • Conference: Systems Thinking for Contemporary Challenges - Wednesday, October 7 (8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.) Registration and breakfast begin at 7:00a.m.
  • Back-to-the-Classroom Session - Tuesday, October 6 (2 p.m. - 5 p.m.) Registration opens at 1:00p.m.
  • SDM Student-Alumni Mixer - Tuesday, October 6 (6 p.m. - 10 p.m.)
  • Information Evening - Wednesday, October 7 (6 p.m. - 9 p.m.)

Online Registration

The deadline for submitting your online registration and payment is September 30, 2015. Payment is due upon registration if paying via credit card or upon receipt of your online invoice if paying by another method. Space cannot be guaranteed for any registration that is not paid in full by this date. Advance registration is strongly encouraged as this event will be happening during Boston’s inaugural HUBWeek innovation festival.

On-site Registration/Information Desk Hours

If you are unable to finalize your plans or payment by September 30, 2015, you may still register at the on-site registration desk, which will open for business at the MIT Tang Center (Building E51) on October 6, 2015 beginning at 1:00 p.m. and on October 7, 2015, starting at 7:00 a.m. On-site registrations will be accepted on a space-available basis.

What's Included

SDM Conference registration includes admission to all sessions on October 7, 2015, conference materials, breakfast, lunch, and a networking reception following the final conference session.

Cancellations, Changes, and Refunds

Requests for cancellations, substitutions, or other registration changes may be made online until September 30, 2015. To cancel or make a change after that date, please send an email to conferences-www@mit.edu.  

Refunds for cancellations received in writing on or before September 30, 2015, will be granted less a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be granted after that date. No refunds will be given for portions of the registration not being used. All refunds will be made in US dollars and will be processed in the manner in which the original payment was submitted, with the possible exception of wire payments which, at the organizers' discretion, may be refunded via check. If a refund is made via wire transfer, any bank fees will be deducted from the refund. Credit card refunds will be issued to the original card.
