Health is a critical issue in Kentucky, which continues to rank last or near-last in every measure that matters, yet health coverage continues to take a back seat in most Kentucky newsrooms, and is even shrinking in some. That’s partly a reflection of declining resources, and partly that the issues are complex and distressing.

On Monday, September 21, 2015 in Louisville, we’ll offer a FREE daylong workshop (including lunch) to help you cover health in ways that your readers, viewers and listeners will appreciate. It will feature a collection of America’s and Kentucky’s top health experts and health journalists. The program should yield terrific stories at the same time it helps you see how to make health coverage a more central part of what your newsroom does every day.

Since space is limited, we encourage you to register as soon as possible. Registration will close September 14, 2015.
