Conference Summary*

Nine of DFI’s technical committees will combine their industry expertise to organize SuperPile 2016. This three-day conference will include presentations on the latest developments in Driven Piles, Augered Cast-in-Place/Drilled Displacement Piles, Micropiles, Marine Foundations, Testing and Evaluation of Foundation Systems, Seismic and Lateral Loads, Drilled Shafts, Ground Improvement and Helical Piles and Tiebacks.

On Tuesday, June 7, DFI committees will meet in the afternoon to discuss progress on various committee projects. A complimentary tour of the Atlas Tube plant is also planned for the morning. Transportation will be provided. The DFI Women in Deep Foundations Committee will host Boat Tour and Reception in the evening. Special event tickets for the tour will be available for purchase soon.

On Wednesday, June 8, there will be a plenary (combined) session of presentations on a variety of technical topics. Two parallel sessions on Thursday, June 9, will provide providing attendees the option to choose presentations of interest. Invited and selected presentations will highlight advancements, innovations and challenges in design and construction of deep foundations, particularly related to piling solutions. Presentations local to the Chicago-metropolitan area, along with national, and international case histories, are encouraged. Panel discussions on current topics will provide attendees opportunities to share new ideas and industry experience. Equipment, material and instrumentation suppliers, contractors, engineers, and other vendors will present their services in our Exhibit Hall.

    Refunds for Registration or Exhibit Space will not be issued after Monday, May 16, 2016. However, you may transfer your registration to another DFI Member.
