Multidisciplinary Sport Audience:
The Sport Exchange Summit 2018 aims to bring together certified athletic trainers, coaches, sport dietitians, sport psychologists, strength & conditioning specialists, team physicians, administrators, agents, and other personnel to exchange ideas, share best practices, examine trends, and learn about cutting edge developments in sport.
Our program is presented by respected speakers in each topic area and includes expert panel discussions to encourage questions and tailored learning opportunities.
At the close of the Sport Exchange Summit, Powered by Drug Free Sport, participants will be able to:
Summarize current, pressing topics affecting athlete health and performance at all levels of competition.
Identify challenges and opportunities in creating a more collaborative (versus competitive) professional environment within sports organizations to enhance player development, health, and performance.
Consider the significance and psycho-social relevance of race and diversity, LGBTQIA, prescription and recreational drug abuse, drug-testing, and other concerns for athletes within today’s sports organizations.
Describe the importance and impact of building a collaborative sports medicine and performance family that includes sports nutrition, sports psychology, and effective player engagement.
