Lightroom & Photography Workshop
We will utilize the Chicago Botanical Gardens as a themed field trip area for capturing botanical images for working with Lightroom.
Our classroom base of operation will be the meeting space at the Marriott Courtyard Chicago Highland Park/Northbrook hotel just 3 minutes outside of the Botanical Gardens on 1505 Lake Cook Road. We will convene at the hotel classroom meeting space at 8: AM on Saturday June 21st and 9:AM Sunday June 22nd. Within our schedule I have allocated 2.5 hrs. of photography both days in the gardens. One afternoon session on Saturday and a morning session on Sunday. Outside of the workshop hours and hotel meeting space access (8:AM to 5:PM) the gardens are open from 7: AM to 9: PM for Summer hours. The daily entry fees are for parking only and based on per car cost. As a special treat the “Show of Summer” exhibition and competition (10:am – 5:pm) will be on during our workshop. So there will be a plethora of blooming flowers and designed arrangements in the exhibition areas during the weekend as well.
