The 109th Synod of the Diocese of Mid-America will be held in Dallas, TX at the Church of the Holy Communion Pro-Cathedral on Thursday/Friday February 25th and 26th. All worship services, business sessions, banquet, choral concert, and Friday lunch will be held at the Pro-Cathedral.

PLEASE NOTE: The Synod schedule has been modified from years past. We will convene Synod Thursday AFTERNOON instead of Thursday morning. Check-in will begin at 1:00pm and the first scheduled meeting time will be 2:00pm. We hope that this later start time will allow people to travel on Thursday morning and, therefore, save one night of hotel costs and one day of rental car expenses. We anticipate that business should conclude on Friday afternoon around the 4pm hour. The complete schedule is available on the Diocesan webpage (recdma.org). 
 
HONORED GUEST: We are honored to have Archbishop Foley Beach join us for our Synod this year. The Archbishop will be preaching at the Communion Service on Friday morning.

HOTEL: You are responsible for booking your own hotel room(s). Hotel information will be provided on the confirmation page you receive after registering. It can also be found on the Diocesan website (recdma.org) Hotel reservations must be made by February 15th to ensure availability and the discounted rate of $109 /nt (+tax). 

COSTS: When you register for this event, the cost of $80 will automatically include registration charges, the banquet dinner and choral concert on Thursday evening, and the Spring Creek BBQ Lunch on Friday. If you are registering and have someone else who will be joining you for just the banquet, you can purchase that with your registration for $35. If you desire to register only for the banquet dinner and concert (separate from another persons registration), you can do so but you will automatically be charged $40 (which includes $5 additional administrative costs). If your church is paying for you, you can still pay now and submit the receipt for reimbursement to your parish.
