Welcome to the Turfgrass Field Day Registration Site!

The UConn Turfgrass Science Program invites you to attend the Fifth Biennial Turfgrass Field Day. The focus of the event will be guided tours of current research studies in the areas of turfgrass management, pathology, entomology, and more. Enjoy a delicious lunch and reconnect with old friends during the event.  Our afternoon program will include three breakout sessions highlighting handdling and field application of beneficial nematodes, sustainable and pesticide-free turf management and a turfgrass disease walking tour focused on identification and cultural and chemical control options. Exhibitors from throughout the region will also be present with product and service information for the turfgrass industry.

Workshops

Afternoon Workshops

Workshops will be offered concurrently from 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM for an additional $25.00 on the topics of:

• White Grub Biocontrol Workshop: From Beneficial Bacteria to Peonies for Tiphia

• Sustainable and Pesticide-Free Turf Management

• Turfgrass Disease Identification and Management Walking Tour

You may choose a workshop during the registration process.  Pesticide credits will be granted for the afternoon workshops.

Accommodations

For those who are interested in staying overnight the night before the Turfgrass Field Day, there is a block of rooms reserved for Turfgrass attendees at the Nathan Hale Inn on the UConn campus for the night of July 18.  If interested, please contact the Nathan Hale Inn at 860-427-7888 and mention you are with the Turfgrass Field Day.

    Cancellations can be processed by returning to this registration site using your self-created username and password and following the directions to cancel your registration.

    Cancellation by 5:00 PM EST on July 1, 2016, full refund minus a $35.00 processing fee.

    Cancellation after 5:00 PM EST on July 1, 2016, no refunds will be issued.
