Manitoba canoLAB 2016 is a one day interactive workshop that looks at timely considerations in canola production. Knowing what is going on in your field is paramount to achieving optimal canola yields! This year, Manitoba canoLAB 2016 will include sessions on canola rotations and on maximizing synergies with other crops. Take advantage of the soil testing session by bringing in your soil test results for discussion. This event is proudly co-hosted by the Canola Council of Canada and Manitoba Canola Growers Association.
Participants will be divided into small groups and rotate through a series of concurrent stations. Sessions will be led by industry experts and will cover a wide range of agronomic topics. There will be live plants with live issues. This forum is a great opportunity for producers and agronomists to sharpen their diagnostic skills and to strengthen their knowledge base.
The workshops will be held on Wednesday, March 9th and Thursday, March 10th in Brandon at the Assiniboine Community College. Each day will be identical in format and content. Lunch will be provided. Attendance is limited to optimize the canoLAB experience, so please be sure to register early!
