10th Annual Summit
A Decade of Pioneering Organics Management

Vermonters are making great strides towards 2020 and full phase-in of the landfill ban on organics.  The Vermont Organics Recycling Summit is helping lead the way: a statewide forum to think bold, learn, and network about transforming food waste and other organic materials into valuable products.

This year's Summit will highlight recent successes, how ingenuity and thrift are 'changing the game,' emerging technologies, research, and outreach models to help businesses, communities and residents meet the State's organics diversion, food rescue, and food scrap recycling goals.  Vermont's Universal Recycling Law

The one day Summit at Vermont Technical College in Randolph Center will feature a morning plenary with Keynote presentation and a State of the State.  Attendees can choose from four concurrent workshops, morning and afternoon, featuring 15 presenters.  See Agenda for workshop descriptions.

Continental breakfast, lunch and afternoon ice cream social are included in registration fee.

To celebrate 10 years of VORS we are creating a Timeline of Vermont milestones in organics diversion.  Please bring yours - dates, photos, stories, etc. to add to the Timeline or you can submit them before April 1 to: vorsummit@gmail.com
