Bulletproof Your Management System

This summer marks the tenth year of Farm Journal College events. This two-day event led by Farm Journal Field Agronomist Ken Ferrie will teach participants how to bulletproof their management system for higher yields. The events include hands-on, in-field breakouts and classroom sessions highlighting sunlight, water management, nutrient management, hybrid selection, multi-hybrid technology, soil density and much more!

Founded in 2008, the Farm Journal College events build on the success of the Farm Journal Test Plot program, which has been helping farmers do a better job of growing corn for 22 years. It was a direct response to requests from farmers for more access to the vast production knowledge of the Farm Journal Field Agronomists.

The Systems Approach
The Systems Approach requires understanding how one process influences others. This pyramid shows how one management change affects many other factors and ultimately yield. Read or watch how you can benefit from using Ken Ferrie's Systems Approach by clicking here.
