MIT SDM has planned the following events for September 2016:

    Seating is unreserved and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • SDM Student-Alumni Networking Event
    Tuesday, September 27 (6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.)
  • Information Evening
    Wednesday, September 28 (6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.)

Online Registration
The deadline for submitting your online registration and payment is September 16, 2016. Payment is due upon registration if paying via credit card or upon receipt of your online invoice if paying by another method. Space cannot be guaranteed for any registration that is not paid in full by this date. Advance registration is strongly encouraged as this event will be happening during Boston’s annual HUBweek innovation festival.

On-site Registration/Information Desk Hours
If you are unable to finalize your plans or payment by September 16, 2016, you may still register at the on-site registration desk, which will be available at the MIT Tang Center/Wong Auditorium (Building E51) on September 27, 2016, beginning at 1:00 p.m. and on September 28, 2016, beginning at 7:00 a.m. On-site registrations will be accepted on a space-available basis.

What's Included
SDM Conference registration includes admission to all sessions on September 28, 2016, conference materials, breakfast, lunch, and a networking reception following the final conference session.

Continuing Education Units
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available at a cost of $20. Please check the appropriate area on your registration form. Certificates will be emailed after the conference.

Cancellations, Changes, and Refunds
Requests for cancellations, substitutions, or other registration changes may be made online until September 16, 2016. To cancel or make a change after that date, please send an email to  

Refunds for cancellations received in writing on or before September 16, 2016, will be granted less a $50 processing fee for conference attendees and a $25 processing fee for Back-to-the-Classroom attendees. No refunds will be granted after that date. No refunds will be given for portions of the registration not being used. All refunds will be made in US dollars and will be processed in the manner in which the original payment was submitted, with the possible exception of wire payments which, at the organizers' discretion, may be refunded via check. If a refund is made via wire transfer, any bank fees will be deducted from the refund. Credit card refunds will be issued to the original card.
