Map and Directions

For the fourth year the diocese is hosting a diocesan-wide Catholic Women’s Conference! This is a one-day conference for all women over 18 years old to come together for a day of fellowship, prayer, and learning.

The conference theme, "Fully Alive" plays on Jesus' consistent invitation in the gospels to follow Him and live in the abundant life that He offers. As women in a culture that values the freedom to pursue our own happiness, to choose whatever lifestyle, relationship, or path we think will make us the most happy, the invitation of Jesus rings true in our hearts. We must consider this: our freedom exists so that we can give ourselves away in love. The paradox of the Christian life is that when we empty ourselves, follow Jesus, and participate in His life we become fully alive. Jesus came not just to be our model of holiness but that we might become fully alive by holding fast to His very person and partaking in His divine life.

Registration Cost

The $45 early bird registration is now available through midnight on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. Registration after that will only be accepted at the door for $55. The conference is free for all women religious (i.e. professed nuns or Religious Sisters who are part of an order). Lunch will be provided. Parking will not be covered in the registration fee.

Keynote Speakers (English)

We are pleased this year to welcome two great speakers:

Sarah Swafford is the founder of Emotional Virtue Ministries. She speaks to people of all ages on a variety of topics such as: Emotional Virtue, Dating and Relationships, Modesty of Intentions, and Interior Confidence. She is a graduate of Benedictine College and has been involved in ministry for over ten years.

Our guest musician and emcee, Sarah Hart, most recently released Above Earth’s Lamentation, her eighth album as a solo artist. Amy Grant, Celtic Woman, Matt Maher, Jason Crabb and The Newsboys are among those who’ve recently recorded her songs, and Grant's recording of "Better Than a Hallelujah" (for 2010's Somewhere Down the Road) earned Hart a Best Gospel Song Grammy nomination. Her songs appear in hymnals all across the world. In October of 2013, Sarah was invited to perform for Pope Francis and a crowd of 150,000 in St. Peter's Square.

Additionally, the conference will feature Mass with Bishop DiLorenzo, Reconciliation with many priests available for confession, and expo area with several different vendors and ministries available.
